Job Description:

 

Get your foot in the door by joining OFD Foods as a Line Operator. This permanent/full-time entry level position will allow you to gain the knowledge and skills needed to advance your career with the company. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Set up, operate, tear down and clean food processing machinery
  • Ability to work safely and productively for entire 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work in varying environments (hot, cold/freezing, dry, wet, dusty, noisy, etc)
  • Perform general production tasks as needed, including, but not limited to:
    • Washing trays
    • Placing product onto trays
    • Lifting and lowering trays onto racks and carts
    • Dumping product from trays into hoppers
    • Inspection of fresh or processed product on conveyor belts
  • Direct small crews of employees performing general production tasks
  • Maintain a high standard of process and product quality
  • Effectively communicate with crews, Shift Coordinators and Team Supervisors

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous manufacturing and/or food production experience desired.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour day and night shifts (7am - 7pm and/or 7pm - 7am), including weekends and holidays.

Benefits

Starting rate is $15.64. After completion of new hire evaluation period (90-120 days), rate increases to $17.38.  A $0.50 shift differential is added to those working on the night shift.
